ADOPTED! Sunny had a family come to meet her & it was a wonderful love-fest all the way around. She has moved to Cape May NJ area where she has a Mom, Dad, 2-2 legged siblings, a Grandmom & a little 4-legged sister. She's a happy little girl!

Lil' Red is a delightful spirited puppy who we believe is a Vizsla mix which is where she gets that lovely red color. As you can see, she’s a very beautiful put & is going to be a striking lovely adult dog between her color & her very pretty face. She's a young puppy who like Vizsla’ s she’s on the petite side & we don’t expect her to be any more than 25 lbs. If she were a human, she would be a natural athlete. She is just pure muscle & has fabulous agility potential. For that reason, we’ve found that she will require a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence only --- Be sure to watch her video's below so you can see her in action!
Lil’s Red is just SO full of love & affection & she really has LOTS of personality & she’s just a very Happy-Go-Lucky little pup!
We do believe that puppies need parents who have previously raised puppies & are also experienced at dog training to help her stay on track with her manners & training. If she is adopted into a home with another dog -- that dog would have to be a young adult who is patient while this baby learns the ropes!
She has no concept that she is only a puppy & most of her foster siblings are adult dogs so she continues to chase them trying to get them to engage but generally they are not delighted to be bothered by this little kid. Thankfully she does have young adult foster siblings to play with her every day. If she were to be adopted with another dog --- it would have to be a young adult playful dog who would love to play with her all day.
When we wake up in the morning & I go to her crate to let out her potty, her tail is wagging like crazy & she looks SO happy to see me as if I’ve been gone for a week instead of just overnight. Sunny always rolls over to get me to rub her belly & her ears before she is ready to go potty outside. I always tell her what a pretty girl she is! She sleeps thru the night from 930 to about 7 AM. She never potties in her crate & since she’s crated trained if she did need to potty --- she would let you know – which is the point of getting them to understand that we potty outside -- not inside the house. She is a people loving LITTLE girl & she loves dogs.
To adopt a puppy from LnF Dog Rescue we do require that the family has raised a puppy as an adult. We believe that like children, puppies need to be “raised” not left in a crate all day. If they well socialized as pups --- they will be well-behaved dog citizen. Again when they are this young, they need to have someone who works from home or part-time or willing to hire a pet sitter or family member who can come daily to give her a potty break at least twice a day. If you are in Delaware we can recommend pet sitter or doggie daycare.

All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed.
Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue. Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that does not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any type of electric fence, no exceptions.
