ATTENTION: Please read our adoption policies in full before completing an adoption application.
Watch Coco's video below --- Coco was just returned to us because a family member is terminally ill & can no longer care for her. Her baby picture is below. She is truly a stunning large young girl who is Chocolate/red Dobie/Pointer and very beautiful!
She will need a foster home or an adopter where she can be the only dog. She was not raised with other dogs and she does not want to share all her kisses that she bestows on her foster Mom & Dad with other dogs. She is extremely loving and when she sees me come in from outside she truly "smiles" and does a little dance for me -- so funny! She is a charmer. She is also a jumper so she needs a 6 foot fence only or a Petstop installed on a 4 foot split rail since she just sails over 4 foot fences.
Update: November 20
Coco adjusted great to her new foster home. After less than a week she is almost totally housebroken. She is the sweetest puppy I have ever met. She loves to play but loves to be held even more. Coco will be forever devoted to her owner, her loyalty is evident even at this young age. When I let her out of her crate in the morning she jumps into my arms for a big hug. She is generally quiet but will bark when she feels she should to let me know something. Coco will be cherished by whoever is lucky enough to adopt her.
Coco is sweet, very laid back…a real cuddler. She is a little less bulky than some of the others. She is a dark brown chocolate color, with white feet. Coco & Cleo are the chocolate lab look alikes. Both of these girls have the lankier pointer build like their mother. They are very, very sweet, extremely gentle and laid back. They are bright, and loving, and seem more calm then some of the others. We call these two the twins, as they were born just 15 mins apart.
All pups are pictured with the Mom Belle who is an English Pointer. She was rescued very pregnant with this litter. These puppies have been lovingly hand raised by the family who rescued Belle.
