Lost and Found Dog Rescue Adoption Center is a nonprofit rescue and adoption organization dedicated exclusively to placing dogs into caring, loving and permanent homes. Our small group of passionate animal lovers rescues shelter dogs primarily from the Georgetown SPCA in DELAWARE just before they are to be destroyed at the shelter due to a lack of space. These amazingly and wonderful beings reside in the homes of our dedicated foster parents. Our team of trained volunteers foster the animals in our homes and temperament test each one, thereby enabling us to give an accurate evaluation and assessment of each dog's personality. This approach is what makes our organization unique and successful.

What We DO
Countless beautiful souls lose their lives every day through no fault of their own because of a lack of money and space. We endeavor to help these formally "LOST" puppies & dogs become "FOUND" and then ADOPTED to loving families.
Our animals are selected based on having sweet, friendly and affectionate temperaments. They are then socialized in our foster homes until they are ready to be adopted. In the foster homes, these pets are given love, hope and security, so that they make the best possible companions for their new families.
Saving the lives of the dogs/puppies from the shelter is the most REWARDING thing we do. Besides saving their lives, the most IMPORTANT thing we do is provide low-cost spay/neuter certificates to our new adopters at a significantly reduced cost.The certificates are purchased from the Friends of Animals or The Chester County SPCA.
Purchasing a spay/neuter certificate is REQUIRED BEFORE the new pet can be adopted. We also provide a current list of Veterinarians in your area who take the certificates.
