Brook Animated
Until you have held a tiny puppy in your arms as it kissed your face with
slobbery puppy breath and felt the love,
Until you have held an injured or severely ill dog in your arms
and felt their pain,
until you have looked into the eyes of a tired aging senior dog
and felt their wisdom,
You will never understand the life of a rescuer.

We find beauty in the most incomprehensible places and the otherwise homely faces.  It is our gift to see beyond the dirt, terror, sadness and defeat and find the true soul that lies within.
We are Rescue."

Dogs Like Ellie Mae!

Ellie Mae

Ellie Mae had been hit by a car and had been dragging around her broken leg for months, starving to death before she was picked up by a county shelter in West Virginia. She was brought to Lost and Found Dog Rescue so we could have her leg repaired.  Through Lost and Found's fundraising efforts all  Ellie Mae's  medical bills were paid in FULL, including her adoption donation!!  It has taken TWO adoptions to find Ellie Mae her forever home, but Lost and Found Dog Rescue was determined to find the perfect home for this beautiful, purebred Foxhound.  Ellie Mae has gone home to start her new life in Mullica Hill, NJ. She has a new Mom, Dad and Big Chocolate lab brother Silas. Her new family has a one acre fenced in property. This Foxhound will be in heaven!!
