So happy that our little Star is going home to MD to start her new life with her 2 Mom's & a 4 legged brother Ollie! She is such a lucky young lady to have such a great family. She'll be LnF Dog Rescue's 472nd adoption since 2/24/2004.
According to our "Meet Your Match Program" Star is: Teacher’s Pet - I’ve got the whole package — smart, four legs, love to learn and live to please. Go ahead, teach me anything. Sit, stay, balance your checkbook, I can do it all. Keep me entertained and I’ll be yours forever. (Externally motivated)
Do not ask me how this much cuteness could be in this small 15 lb little girl -- but here she is! Star is young, saucy little hot tamale and she has the greatest personality stashed inside her small body. She is really very loving & the sweetest little lady! In keeping with her breed, she loves nothing better than to be close to people. Besides being very affectionate Star is also very intelligent and a fast learner. Her coat & her eyes are very shiny & she is just bubbling over with personality! She is very curious about the world & everything in it but most of all she really wants to know --- what you want her to do – she aims to please!
She is learning her basic commands & how to walk well on leash & she is an excellent student. Star loves people & other dogs. In general she is just a darling little dog who would love nothing more than being your little girl forever!
As with all LnF dogs, they live in a foster home with our family, guaranteed to love people with gentle & sound dispositons, get along well with other dogs, are all fully vetted with all their necessary shots, spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for Heartworm/Lyme, wormed, crate & house trained.
* It is our opinion that Senior’s Citizens - anyone 65 & up -- should consider adopting senior or more mature dogs. Everyone wants pups & young dogs, but our abandoned mature & senior dogs need families who know they still have lots of love to give & deserve a chance to live out their Golden Years in a loving home.
A minimum 4 foot high fence is always mandatory – there are NO exceptions to an installed physical fence & we do not accept any type of electric fence.
