ADOPTED! I'm just thrilled for my Annie-Bannie girl. A wonderful family came to meet her last night & they fell head of heels in love with her. How could you not? She will be among my "Going Home 4 The Holidays" kids. She'll be my 9th to go home & my goal was 10 this year. Wonder if I can meet my goal this year -- I haven't met my goal ever even though I've participated in this program for over 10 years. Maybe this year I'll get 10 of my foster kids "Home 4 The Holidays!"

MYM Designation: Couch Potato

**Be sure to watch Annie's videos below** This is my much beloved American English Coonhound Annie. She had a pretty bad start in life in KY of pure neglect which lead to her being hit by car & left on the side of the road to die.  She had a good Samaritan who stopped & took her to a Vet.  There is a photo below of how serious her wounds were. It took months to help her to walk on her back leg & that only happened because I took her to the premier Vet Hospital Metro in Philadelphia & they gave her a custom-made boot (you can see it in the photo) which braced her ankle which was crushed so that in time she was able to put weight on her leg. Before that, she held the leg up all the time. She now can walk & play like a regular dog. She doesn’t have to wear her brace anymore.

LnF Dog Rescue has always been a mutt rescue, but along the way, I rescued my first hound who like Annie had also been hit by a car & had a broken leg.

I found just how amazing hounds are which is why I have several here in the rescue. They have huge ears as you see & what's so special is that all their ears feel like VELVET!

If you’re ready to adopt which I assume you are since you are here, I would love the opportunity to introduce you to the very special world of “Loving Hounds” If you meet them in person you’ll see how soft their spirit is – how much they LOVE people & love to bestow kisses – you can see Annie making the rounds in the video below to a group of UD students that she had just met!

Annie also has very motherly instincts  – she tries to babysit all the new pups & dogs when they come to the rescue. Hounds are also pack dogs, so they LOVE being with other dogs. Cats probably best not to adopt them in homes with cats.

We have a monthly “Mingle with our MUTTS!” on the 3rd Saturday here at the adoption center in New Castle so you could stop by & meet all our adoptable dogs.  Annie would love you more than you can imagine, so we hope you’ll consider adopting a hound!

Adoption Requirements:  *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that does not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any type of electric fence, no exceptions.

For more info read our adoption requirements & if you can meet or exceed them, you can apply here at my website.

Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue.
