ADOPTED! I was so happy to see that Pandora, now Madeline adored her new sister Elosie. They were both adopted (different rescues) the same weekend & instantly bonded. Like her foster mom, her new life she'll be a "Jersey Girl" like her foster mom. She is my #492nd adoption.
Her new Mom wanted a sweet, well balanced little dog who loves people, other dogs & kids & just so happens Pandy excels in all area -- not to mention just how very pretty & petite she is. Perfect match & she will be my #492nd adoption.
Pandora has been Kid, Cat & Dog tested & she loves them all! Be sure to watch Pandora videos below & see her playing with her foster sisters Annie & Simone' **
I have Pandora listed as a Border Collie/Lab, but honestly, I'm not sure what her exact breed is. What I do know is, she's extremely pretty, gorgeous eyes, Young, petite, only 21 lbs. Pandora is surprisingly calm for such a young girl. She's super friendly to both humans & other dogs & cats! What she wants to do most of us is sit on your lap or near you & her other very favorite thing is to sit near a window & watch the birds & squirrels.
We were told when she was on the transport from KY to DE she traveled with an 8-year old boy & she just loved him, so we're going to list her as a "Bona-Fide Kid Lover."
Pandora was picked up by animal control wandering around in KY with another of our girls Sable who has since been adopted. They may or may not be sisters, but they probably lived together at some point. They play together, but both of them get along with all our foster siblings. If she seems like the kind of girl you would like to bring into your life, we hope you'll apply to adopt her.
Pandora does have Lyme disease, but we're treating it aggressively with a 6-week course of antibiotics. She doesn't have any symptoms, but in the interest of making sure we only adopt out healthy dogs, it's part of our protocol to always test for Heartworm & Tick-borne diseases.
Be sure to read our adoption requirements & if you can meet or exceed them you can apply here at our website.
