LnF tests all our dogs for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma & Tawny did test positive for Anaplasma. She has no symptoms she just tested positive but we have treated her aggressively with a 6-week course of antibiotics & she is fine.
Tawny is as you can an adorable low rider that found herself thru no fault of her own in a kill shelter in KY. She’s Corgi mix but I can’t put my finger on what she’s mixed with. Tawny is about two years old & only 33 lbs. She just LOVES people & just so affectionate, sweet and gentle. She’s being fostered with lots of other dogs & she’s having a ball. She has a very jaunty little walk & we’re looking forward to seeing who will be lucky enough to bring this joyful little baby girl into your life.
We've also noticed that she wants ALL the attention when she is with people. She get's along well with all the dogs here in her foster home but when it comes to "sharing" people she's not very good at that --- so we think it would be best if she is adopted into a home as "an only child." She adores people & even dogs but perhaps since she never had any attention in her other life now she want's it all. So, if you are the kind of family that only wants one dog at a time & who will smother you with affection Tawny just might be the perfect girl for you.

All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed.
Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue.
Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that does not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any type of electric fence, no exceptions.
