ADOPTED! So very happy to report that is Heidi being adopted but the double bonus is her new family also wants to adopt her real sister Margaux -- I'm very happy for my little KY ladies to be able to start their new lives being loved & together for the rest of their lives!
This is our new girl Heidi, she & Margaux are real sisters, they're about one year old & Heidi is 21 lbs. Margaux is 26, but she must gain more weight. She was horribly emaciated when they came to the rescue. When they arrived from KY they couldn’t even walk on leash – they were just frozen with fear -- so it took some time, but now they feel safe & are really having fun here playing with all their foster siblings.
Heidi has discovered the joy of toys -- as is often the case these dogs from KY never had toys, so we have to "teach" them what they are. She loves her toys very much but what is even cuter is she is excellent at fetching. She brings it right back & wants you to throw her toys. Very cute!
Heidi is very strange in that she always goes out the back door backward! Never seen a dog do that before. Each would do best with a family that has had shy dogs in the past & it would also be best for them to have a quiet home life. If interested in meeting either of them sure to read our adoption requirements & if you can meet or exceed you can apply at our website. They do not have to be adopted together.
All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested, live in foster homes ~ All pups/dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) crated trained, have had basic training ~ Guaranteed to still love people & get along with other dogs ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication & Flea/Tick year round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ de-wormed twice.
