ADOPTED!! Thrilled to announce that Jackie is now LnF Dog Rescue's 499th adoption since 2-24-2004. She now has 2 Mom's & little brother, Bacci & a life full of love & being a beloved family member!

Jackie is an adorable Mountain Cur, check out that bobbed tail, it can hit Mach 1 when she's happy which is always. She's about 7 months old, going to be perhaps 30 lbs full grown & a bundle of energy. Only thing that allows her to burn off that puppy energy is when she & all her foster siblings chase each other & end up doing several laps around the whole yard ---
For that reason, Jackie will need a family who has raised a puppy as an adult, willing to continue her basic training & has a lifestyle that allows them to have time to continue to raise her & walk her daily.
She gets along with all the dogs here & loves people. The Mountain Cur breed is not common in this area (they are more prevalent down south like KY where she came from) but having rescued several of them you’ll find you’ll get lots of attention when you are walking her because everyone seems to have to ask – “What breed is that dog?”

All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed.
Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue.
Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that does not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any type of electric fence, no exceptions.
