Update from Cara's New Mom: She's doing very well!! Now that she feels more at home we've really been getting to see her personality and she's just so sweet! She loves laying in the living room w/ us, playing w/ Chloe, and of course playing outside (my favorite is when the squirrels run up the trees away from her and she barks at them thinking that will bring them back down). She's been enjoying walks on the days the weather has been better. Hopefully it will be nicer this week so we can take both dogs for walks after being stuck inside most days w/ all the rain and snow. When I make dinner she sits in the kitchen w/ me, and we've been working w/ her to teach her some new things. We are enjoying her company very much!!
UPDATE: We are so happy that someone finally saw the soft beautiful side of our dear Cara. She met her new parents at Bill's Wonderland of Pets in Magnolia NJ at an adoption event. They thought she was beautiful and as soon as they make some major fence repairs and she meets her new sister -- she will be going home. Yeah Cara!
Update: Cara is my sweetest little wiggle butt! When you just say her name she comes walking over with a wiggle butt that makes her look like she is walking in jello! Cara has turned out to be so pretty, so sweet, so funny, so submissive, so affectionate to humans & her foster brothers and sisters but we just found out - NO KITTIES! She has a very high prey instinct so we would not put her in a home with small animals. She spends her day looking for birds & squirrels to hunt - for that reason we will only place her in a home with a 6 foot privacy fence.
She is a Red/Yellow lab/hound mix who is a very happy girl! She loves everyone and wants to kiss and play, kiss and play. We are looking forward to finding someone who will take her for long walks and snuggle since they are two of her favorite things!
