ADOPTED!! My little girl met her new family today & now she'll have a Mom, Dad & a 2-legged brother. She is such a sweet & unique looking girl that I think they fell in love instantly. I will miss her spirit very much but - she'll be going home to start her new life this week in Princeton NJ -- Lucky Beauty & Lucky family to have found her --

Beauty is a relatively rare breed in our area called a Mountain Cur mix. If you aren't familar with them they are fabulous little dogs.
They are very common in KY where I get most of my rescued dogs. So far I’ve only adopted 4 Mountain Curs in the Tristate area to families who had never heard of the breed & Beauty will be my 5th. Their families were so happy I introduced them to this lovely breed.
I’ve enclosed a photo below of one of my first blonde Mountain Cur Amelia so you could see what they really look like. They are petite – usually no more than 30 lbs., exceeding sweet & gentle dogs who seem to just love everyone – people & other dogs.
Beauty is a young, just 1-year-old and has like most MC’s she has an adorable stubby tail that they are born with – they are not docked. Beauty can make hers stubby go so fast it’s almost like a blur but she can make her whole body quivers with joy when she sees you. She is happy, loving, little dog who loves to play with her foster siblings & all toys, but she is also happy to sit on the sofa or chair with you & watch TV. She is so pretty & shines like a black diamond. When you are out walking people will be sure to want to come over & admire her & ask you "What kind of dog is she?" She does require a 6-foot high wood or vinyl fence b/c we have found she has such talent for agility she could work for a circus.
If she seems like the kind of girl you would like to bring into your life -- be sure to read our "adoption requirements" first to be sure you are qualified. **There is a complete list to the left on our website** All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed.
Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that DOES not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any type of electric fence, no exceptions.
Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue.
