ADOPTED! Her new name is Luna & her new Mom said she couldn't be happier that she found her. She had been actively looking to adopt for about 2 years & every time she went to see a dog at a shelter or applied for one at a rescue --- it was gone before she had a chance to adopt.
I'm so glad she kept trying & I'm honored that I was able to have the perfect young dog for her -- Luna was clearly worth the wait.

BTW -- I'm always honest about the disposition of my dogs so that my adopters have as much info as possible -- the good & if there are any areas that they still need additional work.

**Experienced dog parents only**

Jodi came to us from a very crowded shelter in KY where she found herself lost & her family wasn’t able to find her. She is young, just about 1-year-old, very sweet, calm, playful, good little girl (only 28 lbs.) who is a just Happy-Go-Lucky cutie.

She must have had a family that cared about her since it's odd that she doesn’t seem to have any issues of abuse or neglect which is odd for dogs coming out of her area.  She’s a very delightful young lady who LOVES people & other dogs.  I have an experienced dog walker/trainer who rescues a relatively rare breed in our area called Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers & she believes that while Jodi is not a purebred she does have that as her primary breed.  That means they are hunting dogs by breed & I have noticed that she seems to have WAY too much interest in small animals so I’m going to say “NO KITTIES”

Her coat has wonderful shades of blonde & curly so she will require regular grooming. She plays all day with all her foster siblings but even though she's young she isn’t crazy wild. If she seems like the kind of girl you would like to bring into your life -- be sure to read our "adoption requirements" first to be sure you are qualified.  **There is a complete list to the left on our website**

Adoption Requirements:  *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed.  Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile.
