Sugar has been adopted by who would have been her foster Mommy Sue had she not gotten sick and went right into the hospital. Suga is our newest puppy, about 4-5 months old, was just rescued on Saturday from the shelter. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with Parvo. Great news though! Due to immediately getting her to the vet, and the excellent medical care through our vet Dr. Gray at the Brandywine Vet Hospital she is expected to make a full recovery. She has such strong spirit so I'm sure that helped her also. Sugar will be in quarantine for quite awhile yet. She is SO very pretty to look at (can't tell by these terrible pictures --- but we'll get new ones soon) but she's pretty inside too! She is a total love bug, she twists her ears all around when you talk to her. She put her paws around your neck when she sees you. She likes to sit and sleep on chairs. When she went to the Dr. Gray's office she just climbed up on the chair like a person. This is our second "shelter kid" that does that. Here is what I wrote about her when she first came to live with me until we find her new parents: This adorable PERFECT little girl was just rescued from the SPCA, Georgetown, DE. She is sitting by my leg right now and I LOVE her! Just love her! She is so pretty, sweet, calm, full of personality, and as I said just PERFECT!
