ADOPTED! My "Little Man" met his new Mom & Daddy & he is going home to live in Sussex County 2-18-19 to start his new life as their beloved baby boy.
He'll get to go to work with Mom or his Daddy works from home so he will be with his parents all the time. I do require my puppies to be adopted by families that work from home or part-time so they can be "raised" and not left in a crate all day alone --- granted my pups stay longer but I'm willing to let them stay here with me until their perfect family finds them -- I will miss my joyful little boy but happy for him that he has a great new life ahead of him being their beloved "Low Ryder"
** Be sure to watch his Youtube videos below which show his training & just being a cute puppy!**
Please note: * In the best interest of our rescued puppies, we pick parents who work from home or part-time. Young puppies, under 6-months, require having new parents who have the time to "raise them." We also require that to adopt any of our puppies, 2-11 months, you must have had previous experience as an adult of personally raising a puppy
Well, I can’t tell you how adorable this little munchkin is! We named him Ryder because he is a real Low-Ryder. He has Basset hound in him & they are always low to the ground. I also see Aussie due to the very light blue eye, also Collie!
As you can see in his photos all those breeds mixed together have created a very striking little guy. He super sweet, submissive & loves people & wants to play with the big dogs! He has been a pure joy since arrived. He just wiggles with happiness when he sees us & he’s a major tail-thumper! His coat is very soft like a Aussie/Collie & very shiny. Ryder is a real people pup -- he looks to you to make eye contact & you can see he just wants all the attention you can give him! When our pups & dogs arrive from KY I put the puppies in 3-week quarantine & the adults 2-weeks. Ryder will be able to go home 12/22 but you can apply if you wish.
He came out of a very full shelter in KY where he dumped by his previous owner. Can’t explain that – it just seems to be what people do in this very poor rural area he came from.
I’m not positive but I really don’t think that he will go over 40 lbs. full grown. He’s still going thru his puppy shots & he has been neutered. The great thing about neutering boys when they are this young he will always pee-pee like a girl. That’s especially helpful when you are out for a walk & since he was neutered he won’t feel the need to mark everything that he sees!
We’re paper training & he’s doing very, meaning as long as the paper in on the floor, he’ll use it. He's still an infant so true housetraining is down the road awhile until he matures.
In the best interest of our rescued puppies, we pick parents who work from home or part-time. Young puppies, under 6-months, require having new parents who have the time to "raise them'. We also require that to adopt any of our puppies – 2-months to 11-months you must have personally raised a puppy as an adult --- We cannot adopt puppies into homes with children under 10-years old.
If Ryder seems like the kind of baby you would like to bring into your life forever -- be sure to read our adoption requirements before applying to be sure you can meet or exceed our standards.
LNF does require that adopters of puppies must have experience raising a puppy as an adult & I would not want to put her in with small children under 10-years old. As with all LNF pups/dogs, she has all her shots, spayed & microchipped.
We do accept PayPal & credit cards for the adoption fee.
All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed.
Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue.
