UPDATE: ADOPTED!! Our pretty boy left to go become a New Yorker!! His foster Mom is very sad but happy that we found such a wonderful "furever" home for dear Cole!
PLEASE NOTE: Both Cole and Gentle Ben will require large fenced in areas due to their size of over 80 full grown. It can be Invisible Fence or 6 foot privacy. NO exceptions.
The Invisible Fence company offers a $100 discount if you adopt through rescue. NO exceptions.

Cole is now completely house-broken. He is free to roam our house and will go to the door to let us know he needs to go out. He sits in front of the sliding door to let us know he wants back in. He is a really calm dog for his age and he is always careful and gentle when people play with him. He doesn't get into things, has done really well with leash training, and has proven himself to be a great dog. We have already had him and his darling brother Gentle Ben neutered.
Cole is such a cuddler sitting on whoever's lap is available. His speckled chest makes him look so handsome and his personality is all labrador; obediant, devoted, loving, fun, and gentle. He is destined to be someone's best friend. Cole is an adoring puppy who would let me scratch his belly all day. He likes to be around people and hates to be left alone. When I let him out of his crate he covers me with kisses. He will be a great companion for hiking and does well with large groups of people including kids and other dogs. I know he will grow into a playful and caring dog.
All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:
SPAYED/NEUTERED
Microchipping
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Worming
PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either physical or Invisible Fence IF there are children in the home.
We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
We have several petsitting service companies that we can recommend:
www.homesweethomepetsit.org/ in PA & DE
www.delawarepooperscoopers.com in PA, NJ, & DE
http://www.tlcpetsitting.net/ in MD
We also have a wonderful all day Doggy Day Care service:
Fuzzy Butts Doggy Day Care in Chadds Ford, PA
www.fuzzybuttsPA.com
(I have visited this facility and it is wonderful and reasonable)
