ADOPTED! Chrissy is our 572nd adoption since 2-20-2004. Now that I've gotten her medical issues taken care of -- which were considerable - Chrissy is now available for adoption. The first photo shows what she & sister looked like when they were owner-surrendered (Thank God) to Amy Murphy at the Estill shelter. They were both horribly emaciated and very near death from starvation. Chrissy was only 3 1/2 pounds with every rib showing, as you can see.
She's up to her proper weight at 6 lbs full grown & I've succeeded in clearing up a ghastly skin infection that was all over her body, which took months! My Vet has given her a clean bill of health.
I know she looks serious in her photos but honestly, she's actually a joyful, happy-go-lucky, sweet, kissy 1-year old tiny little Chi. She is now ready to "Go Home 4 The Holidays."
Please note: An installed physical fence is mandatory -- no exceptions.
All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with three-year Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed.
Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date with all necessary shots, spayed, or neutered by our rescue.
Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. We will not consider any applications that do not have a safety fence.
