This is our little pup Dave. His incredible "cutest" speaks for itself. He is about 5 months old and we have already had him neutered. He is very easy going and get along very well with other dogs, and just LOVES people and LOVES to be cuddled!
He came in from the shelter in from the Wetzel County Pound in West Virginia. He has been there for over a month but you would never know it because he is a go with the flow kind of pup.
We've evaluated him and his disposition is perfect. The only thing we have found, which we consider very "terrier" behavior is he is "toy selfish" with other dogs. NOT with humans, we can take anything away from him over and over. He just doesn't want to share is precious toys with others. He loves a game of dug of war with other dogs, but his toys are his. That may also be that he never had any in his life that could cause this behavior.
Since we've learned this about Dave, we feel it is best to only adopt him to experienced terrier people who are aware of this behavior.
This is not bad behavior, he is just being who is he, a terrier breed puppy.
We also feel that since he is a terrier type, he will require a fenced in yard to be sure when he is chasing squirrels which he will need to do, there should be a fence so he can really enjoy himself.
