Very happy to announce that Nix has been adopted & has moved to Maryland with his new Dad & very own little boy! Very happy that he has such a great home!

Nix is about 2-years old, medium size Boxer/Hound. He is bright red with Boxer brindle markings. He is hands down my best little boy. He's calm, gentle, playful, extremely affectionate & sweet. You can see from the photos below that he was severely injured when he was hit by a car & dragged in VA. When the police were called they took him to a very good shelter that I work with Tazewell & as badly as he was hurt, he was still giving kisses! That is extraordinary for a dog to be hurt as badly as he was & still want to give kisses. That proves to me what a fabulous disposition he has which is why I brought him to my rescue. LNF is noted for having dogs with sound dispositions.
I've personally rescued #584 dogs & I've never seen one that looks anything like Nix. He's going to get a lot of attention when he's out for walks with whoever turns out to be his parents.
We accept Zelle, PayPal & Credit Cards for the adoption fee.
All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed. Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue.
Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that does not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any electric fence, no exceptions.
