Duffy, former Logan has gone home with his Mommy to live here in Delaware. She was so very happy that she was picked to be his very own Mom for the rest of his life. He is my 570th adoption since LNF was founded 18-years ago on 2-24-2004

Let me tell you about this adorable little man. He's about 2-years old, Border Terrier & his coat is just so unusual -- it's gold & red. He was underweight but he came to my rescue but I've got him up to his proper weight of 12 lbs. Logan came from KY & his life there was pretty miserable. He was chained up outside to a tree with little care like food & water. A neighbor called Animal Control & when they came & told the owner that they would be fined & they said "Then take the $^%%$ dog!" so they did & brought him to the Estill Shelter that I work with. Even though he was severely neglected when he met a volunteer he gave her lots of kisses. He's a very super friendly & affectionate little guy & he loves toys, he shakes them like a true Terrier. He get's along with dogs but he's a Mister Bossy Pants & play rough.
Since a small dog like him has an average lifespan of 16 years - I do want him to go to a young family so they can all grow up together. Logan also requires an experienced dog parent, preferably with Terrier experience.
I've been running this rescue for 17-years & have personally rescued #584 dogs who have all lived in my home as my foster kids -- yet I was surprised to see him run out my back door like greased lightning. It's amazing how fast those tiny little legs can run!
He's had basic training & there is a delightful video below showing one of his training sessions & he is very smart & even better he wants to please you.

All LnF pups/dogs have been temperament tested & live in foster homes ~ All pups and dogs have been housebroken (puppies are paper trained) & crated trained ~ All pups/dogs have been Microchipped ~ Tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia & Lyme ~ Each dog is on Heartworm Medication year-round while in our care ~ Up to date with Rabies ~ Distemper, Parvo & Leptospirosis vaccines ~ Wormed. Our adoption fee includes (30) days of FREE pet insurance with an option to purchase, but it's your choice. We strive to provide the BEST medical care available so that YOU are assured all our pups/dogs are healthy, up-to-date on all necessary shots, spayed or neutered by our rescue.
Adoption Requirements: *A minimum physical 4-foot high fence or is higher is always mandatory and must be installed. Some dogs may need a 6-foot wood or vinyl fence & if so it's noted on their profile. We will not consider any applications that does not have an installed fence. We do NOT accept any electric fence, no exceptions.
