ADOPTION PENDING - Danny Boy has arrived from our favorite shelter in WV - Wetzel and three things have been revealed so far. (1) He is a
small (30 pounds) Vizsla mix. We had a lovely young lady named Farrah and they look exactly alike. He seems to have already been neutered AND while he must have been abused and is nervous at first, it lasts a very short time and he is ready to LOVE!! He is SO pretty he looks like a girl!

We have introduced him to the small kids next door and he barked and backed up so I'm sure he was badly abused by small children. So, NO children under 12 for Danny Boy for his sake. He has been through enough.

Here's Rosie's Notes: Danny Boy is a VERY CUTE little one year old beagle mix. Very scared when he first came to the shelter on 12-23-05 but now he's WAGGING THAT TAIL, loves to go for walks and very friendly. He will require an experienced dog owner who has had experience with watching an abused dog go to being a sweet and loving creature with the proper care.

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:

SPAYED/NEUTERED

Microchipping

Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia

On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus

Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.

Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough

Two De-Worming

PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either physical or Invisible Fence IF there are children in the home.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several petsitting service companies that we can recommend:

www.homesweethomepetsit.org/ in PA & DE

www.delawarepooperscoopers.com in PA, NJ, & DE

http://www.tlcpetsitting.net/ in MD

We also have a wonderful all day Doggy Day Care service:
Fuzzy Butts Doggy Day Care in Chadds Ford, PA
www.fuzzybuttsPA.com
(I have visited this facility and it is wonderful and reasonable)
