It was my honor today 11/18/10 to take my baby girl Kaley Bows home with one of our adopters. Her adoption was our 391st since we started 2/24/04. She has a Mommy & Daddy who I know will love her as their little 4 legged child for the rest of her life. Please watch the video below to see how thrilled she was to play ball with her Daddy Hank in her new fenced in yard -- this shows everyone exactly why we require a safe fenced in yard for all our rescued dogs -- it was a beautiful thing to see her joy -- Thank you Sue & Hank for giving her a new loving home -- Bows has a new video below
Update: We went to "Mingle with our Puppies" adoption event with all 7 of our puppies. I watched Bows interact with people and other dogs and it was evident she is extremely intelligent - keeping with her GSD/Husky genes you can see her thinking! She is clearly the smartest of all our puppies & unlike her siblings Ribbons & Bows her ears are about to pop-up. If you love GSD's, she is the puppy girl for you. She is smaller then her siblings, perhaps may go to 30 lbs full-grown.
An update from her Foster Mom: Bows loves playing with the other dogs, she is definatley a pack dog & should be adopted into a family where there is another pet for her to bond with. She is very, very smart and of course loves her rawhides for teething.
She loves hugs and kisses. She likes to sneak up and curl up on the couch when you're sitting there but lets you think she'd rather lay on the floor if you call her. She is definitely a climber/jumper. She does require a 6 ft privacy fence since she has already figured out how to climb out of a 4 foot fence.
Bows is a little BIG baby. She's gotten comfortable being held, and likes to curl up on my lap to calm down before bed. She hasn't had an accident since the night we brought her home. She is more of the follower. Bows has a sweet spot on her belly and gives it readily. She is a very, very sweet baby. She is crate trained & goes to her crate when told it's time to eat or go to bed.
Bows & her littermates Ribbons & Buttons are shown below when they came in from our favorite shelter in WV - Wetzel. They are GSD & Husky mixed pups who are small for their breed.
They are sweet, playful, very active and would love to start life being cuddled and loved every day - Each pup is in foster care & being house-trained. They are all doing very well. We have already had them all spayed & neutered, up-to-date with all shots, microchipped & de-wormed.
We will not accept applications for anyone who has not had personal adult experience of raising a puppy as an adult.
