Notes: UPDATE: Well, I didn't expect that our sweet boy would be adopted so soon but when the PERFECT family comes along ... you just have to go with the flow. His new Mom & Dad had gone all the way to NJ to see a dog in a shelter there. It didn't work out for that poor dog. Luckily our Sarge was still available and they came right over to see him. (Of course we already had an approved application for this family)
So, now our Sarge has a Mom, Dad, a two legged sister & brother and a cat. He seemed very happy that he was the dog they picked to love forever!
His foster Mom knows that she did an excellent job of finding Sarge his new family. Yes, it was a good day in rescue! Of our three West Virginia shelter kids ... two have gone home already. Thank YOU Petfinder people! You make this happen.
One of our foster Mom's Marissa decided that Burton should be named Sargent, so Sargent it is!
Sarge is not really sargent material. He is a very gentle, quiet, young boy who just wants to please you.

Notes: Sarge is the perfect "family dog"... great disposition, extremely friendly and sociable, loves everyone! He's neutered, crate & potty trained, up to take with all his shots, on Heartworm medication and Frontline Plus ... and wants to have his own family. He's a little over a year old...BEAUTIFUL, HAPPY DOG!
We will be accepting applications and feel this boy is going to make some family very, very happy! Won't he look cute under the Christmas tree?
