UPDATE on our pup Izzy:
She rushes to her favorite spots, goes potty, then prances back to the door. Another good she really doesn't bark.

Belgian Shepherd Malinois Mix
Size: Medium
Age: Baby
Sex: Female
Notes: We feel very fortunate to have been able to save this little baby doll from the Georgetown SPCA. I honestly did not know what her breed was but our vet and two other friends have confirmed that she may be a Belgian Shepherd Malinois mix. I'd never heard of the breed so we're going to check with our breed experts at Petfinder to see if they can tell us what little Izzy may be.
What I do know for sure is that she was very shy and frightened when we met at the shelter. Being in the shelter is just so hard on them. When she realizes that you are going to be kind to her, well, that little ole' butt starts wagging and she gives the sweetest little butterfly kisses! My goodness, I'm misting up just typing that. We really love rescuing these sweet creatures from the shelters. It is so rewarding to see the dogs learn to feel safe and loved.
Well, anyway, this is a write up from one of Izzy's foster Mom's Lauren: This pretty girl was found as a stray and is only about 6 or 7 months old. Isabelle chose her own name, by kissing Marleen when she heard it!
She is just beautiful, with very distinctive markings. She is learning to adjust to being with a family. Izzy is a very sweet little girl who will warm your heart as soon as you meet her. She loves to play and give gentle kisses, skipping round the house and saying hello to everyone. She is very very sweet and wants a family that will love her! Will you be this pretty girl's forever family?
Izzy is up to date with her shots, will be spayed on Monday and her housebreaking is coming along splendidly. Her foster family told us that she now goes to the door and "squeaks" to be let out. Now isn't that cute??
