UPDATE: Happy New Year Dianne!!
Jewel is doing great...the kids love her and she is wonderful with them, just sits there and lets them hang on her and kiss her!! Which, in turn, she gives back plenty of licks herself (as you know)!! She loves running and playing outside or is content to just walk around outback if we're not out there with her.She has learned to "sit" "stay" and "paw"...We took her to get spayed on Friday and will pick her up tomorrow (Sunday)...Her only down fall is her separation anxiety when we go to work but I'm told by many other dog owners she'll get use to the routine of our house...

Anyway, I'll send a picture of her with the kids as well as her spaying cert from the vet...Happy New Year and continued success with your adoptions...

Sex: Female
Notes: PLEASE NOTE: Jewel is in foster care with our friends in rescue at Delaware Puppy Rescue. They rescued her and her litter of (10) puppies from being destroyed at the SPCA.

Yes, due to severe over crowding, the SPCA's are forced to destroy Mom's and babies because there are just too many of THEM ... and not enough of US.

I met this little darling girl, and she really is a small little one, only about 35 pounds, and what a pretty face and coat she has! She gave me gentle kisses and just wanted to be close to me. She is a real "people dog" who even though she has never really known love or had the luxury of being a beloved pet ... she still thinks us humans are worth getting to know and she is more then willing to give her heart to.

In her short life, probably no more then two years, she has had litter after litter after litter of pups. Finally she has been rescued and has had her very last litter!

From here on in, we're going to help Jewel find that special someone who will adore her as she deserves.

This is what her wonderful foster family has to say about her:

Notes: Jewel is her name because that just what she is! This is what her Foster Mom has to say about Jewel....she is only 35 lbs and about 2 years old- cute -very easy going - gets along well with other dogs - great with "all" people (adults & children and cats) - she is up to date on all shots - including rabies plus she is HOUSEBROKEN!!! Sounds like a jewel...for sure!! Jewel will be spayed ASAP.

This pet is: up to date with routine shots, already house trained, will be altered
