UPDATE from Tasha's Foster Mom:
This pic is my favorite, shows how spunky she is. She was rummaging in the garden one morning and I found her like this before breakfast. It was so funny and she thought all the attention was just great! Tasha is doing so well! I don't even know where to start. She is the most beautiful, unique, SOFT dog that I have met. It has been so great having my dog too to help train her (also a L&F Rescue Dog & Hunter comes from the same shelter in WV - Wetzel as Tasha)

At once she has taken to toys, especially loves the squeaky ones, and is great about sharing. She is definitely still in her puppy stage and spends half her time tearing through the house and wrestling with my dog. (Fortunately he loves it!) As for training, she is learning to walk great on a leash, will sit on command for treats, is crate trained and will go in by herself for a treat (usually), and is doing good with housetraining. Tasha has spent a lot of time these weeks meeting all types of new dogs, is a bit fearful of some alpha males but plays great and seems to love the smaller dogs. She has met lots of the neighborhood kids and is very curious and sweet. Halloween she sat outside with me to hand out candy and got pet by about 50 kids. She is doing great with her food as well, I feed her in another room and she is just fine with it, she doesn't seem to be food aggressive at all.

Since she is so high energy, she still is a bit jumpy but only at first with people. Then she is just the sweetest, most lovable dog. She deserves a home where someone will love her, give her belly rubs and cuddle.

Nastasha has arrived from WV and she is so much prettier then these pictures. She is sweet, loving but nervous right now. We are very lucky to have her since her time was UP at the shelter --- and then she was so afraid on the transport from WV that she ran away into the woods. We're grateful that another rescue person stayed and helped find her and get her to come to them.

Twice this little one (only 40 pounds) almost died. Tasha is coming along and I know that someday she will make an excellent pet to the right family.

We had her spayed and as always have taken care of all her shots, de-wormings and microchip.

This is what the shelter says about Natasha:
Natasha is a sweet young girl. Great with other dogs and loves everyone she meets. She is energetic and loving and very trainable! She is thin and unkempt but with time will be a beautiful beautiful girl!

PLEASE NOTE:
Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either Physical or Electric Fence. The fence must be installed/or firm commitment prior to us processing an adoption application. Mention that you saw them at our website. http://www.petstop.com/

We abide by the Humane Association's recommendation. For ANY DOG adoption to have a relatively good chance of success, we believe a child should be 8 years old & up. We only adopt what we call our "BONA-FIDE Kid Lovers to families with children." Many dogs do not want to live with children. You should only adopt a dog who LOVES kids to be sure you are able to make a lifetime commitment to a dog.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily. This can be through a family member, neighbor, or Petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several Petsitting service companies that we can recommend:
