My wonderful little boy has found himself a new mom and dad! This little sweetheart is going to be someone's baby, just as I had hoped. I have fallen very hard for my Fritz, and will be immensely sad to see him leave, but I take comfort in the knowledge that he is going to have a wonderful new life with the Fabiani's.

Please join us in welcoming our new little friend, Fritz, into our rescue. This little boy is just so sweet and docile, that he will warm your heart right away. What Fritz needs most is just to be loved. He clearly was someone's baby and he deserves to have that position again. He has spent his first evening here curled up on my lap, periodically gazing up at me with his loving eyes and giving me a kiss or two. Fritz is obviously overjoyed to be out of that noisy shelter and into someone's arms again! He really is just a loveable little boy looking for that special someone to make his own. He has attached to me very quickly and is clearly willing to be my very best friend.

At just a year and a half, he is already just a smidge overweight and could certainly benefit from being walked to get him back into tip-top shape.

He has met both of my children (2 boys ages 5 and 2) and was just perfect with them. However, because of his size and quiet personality, I don't think that it would be in his best interest to be in a home with small children. He needs to be the baby of the family, I think. And, while we know that he has lived with other Doxies in the past, I would like to see him in a family where he is the only dog. He is not the least bit aggressive, but he is afraid of my dogs and will "yap" at them if they approach him. Now, my dogs ARE a bit on the gregarious side and are probably a bit overwhelming for such a gentle creature, but I believe that he would be more comfortable if he didn't have to worry about that at all.

He has received a clean bill of health from the vet, been updated on all of his vaccines and is neutered.
If you think that this little "hot dog" (as my son calls them) might be just what you have been looking for, please fill out an application on our website.
