Update: We are so happy to report that Dennis has been adopted & went home to a Mommy who works from home so they will be together all day & night. This is what we hope for all our dogs but to think that this little Puppy Mill pup sat in a pet store for 7 months makes it even sweeter!  He sat in the disgusting pet store & when they finally realized they couldn't make any money off him they gave him to a very kind rescuer.

Adopt me! Dennis is a Toy Fox Terrier puppy who is 9 months old & weighs only 6 pounds. His foster family wanted to show how tiny he really is. That is a 12" ruler!

He spent the first 7 months of his life living in a cage at a pet store. He was born at a puppy mill & then shipped off to a pet store in DE. When he wasn't sold at 7 months old, his Rescue Angel came along & agreed to take him & find him a family. Dennis is a very sweet boy in spite of his rough start in life. He loves to play with other dogs & he's OK with cats but may need supervision.

Dennis is a playful, fun loving little guy but he is not over the top bouncy. He does not have any issues about living with birds like some terrier breeds can have. He is just a really nice puppy who needs a family of his own. Dennis is crate trained and doing well with house training.

He is fully vetted, neutered & microchipped. This is a courtesy listing --- but we have agreed to take applications for Dennis. To adopt him you must meet or exceed our adoption requirements which are listed on our website. His adoption fee is $150 which will go back to his Rescue Angel to help with the expenses of having him neutered. Read about his breed:

Originally created as smaller versions of their larger Smooth Fox Terrier ancestors, Toy Fox Terriers have been used for a variety of tasks, serving as ratters on farms and as hunters of small game such as squirrel. They have been successful circus dogs and performers and their intelligence helps them to do well in obedience and agility competitions. Their most important purpose, however, is to be a loyal, loving, and devoted companion that amuses and entertains their families.
