We called the shelter to see about Lil' Bear and it seems that he was indeed adopted by a family that we had been in contact with. We're hoping to hear from them soon about their new puppy! We are so grateful that they saved Lil' Bear because we know he is a very, very special boy!
This little guy, and he is small, maybe 40 pounds, if that, is so special. He just needs someone to love him so badly.
He reaches his paw out to touch you every time you go near his cage. This little guy breaks my heart because he is so loving and if someone does not adopt him soon, he will likely lose his life. Please help him and go to the SPCA in Georgetown. I promise, he is worth the trip.
We just do not have any more foster homes or we would love to take him.
Isn't there someone who wants this lovable dog??? Poor Lil Bear is still at the SPCA! This is a very handsome, friendly dog who seems to smile at people. He is a very good looking Black Lab. He is house-broken, good with kids, and up to date on his shots. But he may have some separation anxiety and needs to be crate trained or otherwise confined so that he doesn't chew up anything when left alone. He is thought to under a year old. He is very friendly and obviously wants to be out of his kennel and into a nice, loving home
