Tasha has been evaluated by the MYM program & we have determined she is: Goofball: I’m a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half-full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with me. I’m a dog on a mission to please you. (Socially motivated)
Stopped into the Kent County SPCA and I found this little beautiful girl with her stunning ice blue eyes. Her name is Tasha & was extremely emaciated. Every rib, including her spine were protruding. She was only 28 lbs but she has gained at least 12 pounds which brings her to her proper weight. Tasha is still a pup & she is very, very sweet & all wiggly AND look at those beautiful eyes
She was an owner surrendered & her paperwork said she was given up because her former owner "Worked & traveled too much to give her the attention she deserves." Seems they didn't have time to feed her either. It was a blessing for Tasha that they gave her up before she starved to death & had puppies. I had her spayed & fully vetted & microchipped this week and we are accepting applications for her.
Update from Tasha's foster Mom: This little girl loves to cuddle. As active as she is with the other dogs, she loves just as much to cuddle on your lap.
And she is so gentle playing with the kitties. She likes to give them baths like she would if she were their Momma.
She is very playful -- in large part due to her age -- but she very much wants to please her people and listens well. She loves to play fetch and she actually brings the ball back!
Update from Tasha's foster Mom: Tasha is a joy to have around. Her foster brothers and sisters adore her, and so do our kitties. She is just simply lovable and adorable. And with her ice blue eyes, she is quite stunning as well!
She is about 40 pounds and will probably not get much bigger. She's the perfect medium-sized dog. But she has a huge heart. Her favorite place to be is on her foster Dad's lap, giving him kisses whether he is ready or not!
She does require a 6 foot fence.
