Our Juliet has found her forever family. This lucky pup will now have a wonderful 2-legged family (a sister, a brother, a mom and a dad) to love. We are so happy to have found such a perfect home for her!

UPDATE from Juliet's Foster Mommy:
Juliet has been staying with us for about 6 days now. Juliet is all puppy(about 4 months now) and she is very sweet and a loving one! She is learning her basic commands, sit, kennel, "no", and lay down. We are working on her coming to us when she is called (mainly outside in the yard)--this is the only area in need of working on. She loves to walk around the neighborhood and is very good on the leash. She will even chase leaves blowing in the wind! She is a healthy eater, and definitely will only eat when she is ready. She will watch me make meals, but will not beg. She has been going outside to potty. Juliet is doing very well. I would say that she is 99% house trained--just needs a watchful eye here and there, but other than that she goes to the door now when she wants to go out. We are also trying to get her on a schedule as well. About 20 minutes after she eats, etc., first thing in the morning, before walks, etc.

She enjoys the cats, she wants to play with them, but our cats don't have any interest in her. We are working on having her not "play chase" them, we tell her to sit and stay. She loves to lay with you on the couch or the floor with her toy ducky or her bone. She is an active dog outside in the yard, but when she comes in she lays down and is calm as can be! She is good around children as well, and wags her tail when she sees them. She is a good "watch dog" as well--very alert to her surroundings. When she hears a strange noise outside she will go to the window and bark. She will be a joy for the right family ready to take the time to work with a puppy!

This extremely pretty pup came in from the SPCA in Georgetown DE. She had become a stray at 3 months!

She is a darling, petite, spirited little one. I would be surprised if she topped out at 40 pounds full grown. She is constantly chasing after the big dogs to play. She jumps on the back of my 110 pound Akita and chews on his face and ears. It is such a good thing that he is so loving with the foster kids here. He has had her whole head in his mouth.

She walks very well on her leash and actually prefers to walk herself with the leash. She sits and waits patiently to have her leash put on when it's time to go potty. I don't see Juliet as a high energy girl. She loves to play and does. but she can often be found right where these pictures were taken, on the sofa lounging. I see her more as a little lap girl. She loves to cuddle while your watching TV. She also does not chew on thing she shouldn't or on people. She really is a good little girl.

As with all our L&F Dog Rescue dogs, they will come to you potty & crate-trained, up to date with all their shots, de-wormed at least twice, and a spay certificate will be provided, and one free month of Pet Insurance from Petfinder.

Please obtain our online adoption application. You'll need to register, then they will send you a password in about 1 hour -- then you can fill out the application. We are notified immediately when an application has been completed.
