UPDATE: Well, I must admit, Rosy is not exactly the prettiest girl at the PROM but she has a beautiful soul. That is her asleep on the back cushion of my sofa -- one of her favorite locations!

She is so grateful to have a safe warm place, all the food she needs, and she follows me every where. She is very calm, very easy going and loves all the dogs here -- but loves me best. She is a people dog who wants to be someone's life long companion. I can see her with an older couple who wants to take her bye-byes in the car. I know she will be a very good girl.

I brought up a huge pile of laundry and dumped it on the sofa to fold it. When I came back a few seconds later, she was all cuddled in the warm clothes. She looked so happy I left her for awhile to enjoy the warm clothes.

She is housebroken, always goes to the door or comes looking for me. She is a very very good girl. She has flea allergies but that just means she has to be on Frontline Plus for the rest of her life. We believe all dogs need that to keep from getting Lyme or other tick borne illnesses so not a problem.

She snoozes on my sofa most of the day and she is very low maintance. I do not even crate her at night since she is such a good girl!

We will have her spayed in a few weeks. She just had a litter so we are waiting a bit for her nipples to shrink back some before her spay.

Rosalinda has arrived via transport from West Virginia.

Rosalinda was also taken away along wth Calista and Dahlia from a hoarder. She was living in horrific conditions.
Here is what the shelter has to say about Rosalinda:
Sweet girl that has been bred numerous times. Scheduled for spay. We are trying to give her every opportunity for a home ASAP as we are a county "kill" pound. Looking for a great forever indoor home that will give her the life she deserves.

PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either Physical or Electric Fence. The fence must be installed/or firm commitment prior to us processing an adoption application.

We abide by the Humane Association's recommendation. For ANY DOG adoption to have a relatively good chance of success, we believe a child should be 8 years old & up. We only adopt what we call our "BONA-FIDE Kid Lovers to families with children." Many dogs do not want to live with children. You should only adopt a dog who LOVES kids to be sure you are able to make a lifetime commitment to a dog.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily. This can be through a family member, neighbor, or Petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
