Apollo has been evaluated by the MYM Program & he is a: Free Spirit
Apollo has a new Mom & Dad & three new sisters, Reesey (LNF Adoptee) Havoc & Big Sister Sable. The girls are the children of adopters, volunteer & Foster family.
Apollo will now get to be an Ambassador for breed. How many lives & minds can he changed when people get to meet this huge (probably going to weigh 90 lbs full grown) black Pit Bull (usually danger signs to the uneducated) with his sweet & friendly disposition and adorable wiggle butt?! We could not be happier here at LNF Dog Rescue.
He was originally rescued by another adopter & volunteer who rescued him when a follow employee bought him then after only a few days didn't want him anymore b/c he was a baby & cried thru the night!

Update from Pollo's Foster Mom: He is a free spirit with a dash of Life of the Party. As for an update, he has mastered the sit and now knows he is to sit before he is fed and as soon as he goes into his crate. He is crate trained and hasn't had a mess in 2+ months. He will scratch at the door when he wants to go outside or come inside and his goal in life is to just play. He is hilarious to watch when he gets tired because he just lays and has a hard time lifting that gargantuan head! He is a confident and curious dog and is learning to accept that he cannot always have what he wants, like the remote control, a shoe or anything in the hamper, all of which are my fault for leaving within his reach. He has come to LOVE chasing a ball and brings it back, and releases it when asked.
Apollo is our new little sweetie who just came into our rescue. Is he not the cutest little guy you ever saw? His former owner had gotten from someone and after only 2 days she was willing to give him to whoever would take him. Thankfully this story was told to one of our best volunteers & she agreed to take him so that he would not end up in a horrible situation.
He is quite adorable, very playful, very smart & will need someone who has trained dogs in their adult life or are willing to go to a trainer. We can recommend someone locally. She only charges $120 & will come to your home to several times to get you on the right path toward his training. She already taught him to sit in like 10 seconds! He is very smart.
He has already been neutered, will get all his shots, microchiped, has gotten started on Heartworm medication & flea & tick, So as to not be disappointed - Please read our adoption requirements & if qualified you can apply online.
