Teddy has been adopted & has gone home!

Through our "Foster to Adopt Program" we'll allow a family to *foster* which means no expenses -- for exactly three (3) weeks. Since we all foster, we know you can’t even judge a dog’s true potential until after two (2) weeks. If at the end of the (3) weeks you decide this is the perfect dog for you – you’ll can legally adopt at that time. If you find it wasn’t the match you’d hoped, the dog must be returned to LnF immediately. If you’d like we’ll consider trying another dog --- but that will be on a case by case basis.

This is Teddy who was the 1st born pup. I have his baby photo below. He has always been one of the largest of the males & the only other pup his size is AnneBelle. They will both easily hit 90-100 lbs full grown.

** Be sure to check out his recent video playing with his Mom Molli below**

There is also a photo below of him in the pool. That shows the distinct wave down his back which proves Daddy was a Chesapeake Retriever!

There is a *group shot* below with him resting with his sisters Sugar (L) & Pepper (R) out in the yard. They play all day together and then when they get tired they just seem to gather together & I see a pile of puppies.

Teddy is another water hound like Tanner. He often splashing around by himself in the kiddie pool. Many of the pups have that deep wave & that usually indicates a Chessie.

Sometimes I have separate them (just like kids) when the play gets too rough, but generally they have a ball together. I think all of them should be adopted with at least one other dog since they are used to the company of other dogs. This is not say that they don't love people --- they do!

Being the first born & largest you would think that Teddy would be a leader, but he isn't. He is so sweet & docile & like his brother Tanner all I have to do is make eye contact with him & he just rolls over. When he is inside he slides down the wall to give me belly! He's going to be a *people dog* because he always has his eyes on me. Most of them do that -- but I think it's because I feed them but with him, he is trying to connect with my soul ............ and he has. Not supposed to have favorites but he is very special to me.

Like all of his siblings he is a very affectionate, happy pup. They ALL are huge wiggle butts. They wag their tails so hard their back ends look like jello. Teddy black with a white marking on his chest but in the sun there is a Chocolate hue to his coat.

All of our puppies have all their shots, spayed/neutered & microchipped, crate trained & housetrained & on Heartworm medication. Our adoption donation is $295. Adopters are only reimbursing the rescue for their costs of providing excellent medical care.

Be sure to read our adoption requirements to be sure you are qualified to adopt from LnF Dog Rescue Adoption Center.

We are hoping to find familes who want to adopt the pups who actually have time to raise them. We do not adopt puppies to people who feel it's OK to leave a baby or adult dog in a crate all day without break to potty.

If you work part-time or work from home that would be the best way to adopt. We will accept if you use a dogwalker daily and/or take your puppy to doggie-day care. We can recommend petsitting companies that we trust to provide professional care for dogs while their parents are at work.

The boys (3) of them were all neutered when they are 12 weeks. They all pee-pee like a girl -- so you won't have to worry about that pesky marking everything!

I put them to bed for the night & they sleep thru the night until about 7 AM but if they have a sick belly & need to go out since they sleep in crates they will cry & let you know. Several like to really sleep in! They can now hold-it for 4-5 hours tops! Before applying be sure to read our adoption requirements first to be sure you are qualifed.
