Our Lil' Joe is going home! He met his Mommy & Daddy at the Mingle and it was a love fest all the way around. Lil' Joe is going to keep them hopping because of his 2 brothers, he was the first to learn to climb the steps both and up down and I only seeing him whizzing by most times. He is an active little guy and so cute. We're happy that he is his parents 1st born and he has a new house and new fenced in yard, yes, it is going to be a fun-filled life for this little one!

UPDATE from the "boys" foster Mom:
These pups are so sweet, affectionate, joyful, completely socialized and a pure joy to watch play and interact with their surroundings. They all went to adoption event at Concord Pet Store in Hockessin on Saturday and everyone was "cooing" at their cuteness.

I let them go outside to play in my backyard and they were so happy to be running as fast as they could! They really are like little boys. Their ears which are quite long, were flying all over the place. I was laughing out loud.

Having said that, I would prefer that these little guys get adopted into families with backyards and that IS mandatory if there are children involved. To me, you can't have a puppy/dog and kids --- without a fenced in yard so they can play ball and grow up together in the backyard. Invisible Fence is acceptable, and the company does offer a special where they will install a fence with their lifetime collar for $699.00 when you adopt a rescue pup/dog.

The boys are doing excellent with their paper training. The potty pads have become a form of entertainment and they use them to have tug-of-wars so we're sticking with newspaper. This is not to say they tear the newspaper up and drag it around also --- but they certainly know that is where they go to the bathroom. There housebreaking should be simple once they get into a home routine.

Lil' Joe seems to be the one who has the most energy and is still in motion
when his brothers have settled down to take a nap. Luckily for him, he is capable of amusing himself and just plays with ALL his toys and it seems the squeaker the better. Whenever I hear squeaky noises, I know it him! What a darling little munchin' he is!

This is our new puppy Lil' Joe and he is the brother ot Adam & Hoss. My husband named them after the brothers on Bonanza.

They are 10 weeks old, collie/shepherd mix and are so extremely sweet and lovable. Their paws are very big so they are going to probably be very large boys.

They are NEUTERED, micro-chipped, up to date with all their shots, two worming's, paper trained and hopefully well on their way to being potty trained.

The pups shown here are all from the same litter and are 10-weeks old.
They have arrived to our rescue from our favorite shelter Wetzel in West Virginia.

What we need more then anything is ---- to find just 1-2 new foster homes to help us save the lives of all these puppies. There is another litter in WV which are "golden retriever mixes" that we will not be able to save unless we get commitments from foster families to help us.

If you would consider fostering for a minimum period of two (2) weeks please read our webpage on fostering and contact Marleen, Foster Care Coordinator directly at (302) 323-1096. All expenses are paid, we just need your time and devotion to helping these sweet babies get off to a great start.
