UPDATE: Tia is about the most fun loving, sweet, affectionate pup I've ever seen. She just loves people, dogs, & cats. She really seems to love men. She thinks my husband is just wonderful!
She can have fun all by herself in 1/4 teaspoon of water! She is 3 months old now, up to date with all her shots, potty trained and crate trained, and we've had her spayed.
She is up to 26 pounds is growing by leaps and bounds, I can see her growing and feel the weight she has put on every day. She is going to be HUGE, maybe 60-70 pounds. Her personality is as BIG as she is! Her paws are so big they look like big hams on the end of her legs.
Because of her breed of water spaniel
--- she is a true WATER HOUND. She is constantly playing in water bowls and
her kiddie pool. I would suspect she will do that for the rest of her life.
We pulled Tia & her Mom Kristie from a very high kill shelter in MD because they were both going to be put down that day if we hadn't. We are so happy these two loving pups came into our lives. They are just a joy to watch grow and play. Tia is waiting for that special family to come along who wants to allow her to shower them with all the love that she gives to us.

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions,
have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:
SPAYED/NEUTERED
Microchipping
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Worming
No dog 6 months and up will ever leave L&F Dog Rescue without being spayed/neutered. Spay/Neuter is MANDATORY.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not place puppies in homes where no one will be home all day. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hour alone.
If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
