UPDATE: I know there will be several folks sad but tonight Sunny picked her new Mommy and Daddy. She was very happy to meet them, sat in front of them, gave them her belly, then got up and "leaned" into her new Dad. She picked him!! This is a girl a few weeks back was afraid of men but thanks to her foster Dad Mike, he showed her men can be kind and loving. Now she is ready to start her life as the beloved kid of this wonderful family who have opened their hearts to this truly beautiful soul. Kiss! Kiss! Sunny, so happy for you baby!
This picture of our Sunny is with Rosy the director of the shelter in WV where Sunny came from. Rosy just LOVED her so much that she decided to use her picture on their website: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/wetzelpets.html
PLEASE visit the Wetzel County SPCA

Rosy told us that Sunny is VERY gentle, very smart, very beautiful, and has a very luxurious coat. She is a very, very friendly dog once she realizes you are not going to harm her. Rosy has already been spayed on 5-11-05. We would only want Sunny to go to a home with experienced dog owners.
UPDATE from Sunny's foster Mom: Sunny is only about 1 year old, full GSD, and a very, very sweet girl. She is a little shy of strange men at first. She is learning to trust, and just relax. She has not had one potty mistake in the house. She is a docile creature and we can't believe it -- but she is really afraid of the cats!
She is warming up and giving kisses which are much appreciated. I did notice she has a reaction to loud noises. They definitely make her jump, but who can blame a young pup like her who was dumped on the side of the road in West Virginia like a bag of garbage?
We also found that Robert our other foster kid, gives his heart away easily because he has totally fallen in love with Sunny. He tries to lead her around by her collar and sweet girl that she is, she allows this.
We have discovered one thing about her --- she is a "mudder" and by that I mean, if there is a small puddle, she will play in it until she creates mud. She found a mud puddle and made herself a complete mess not once, but twice! She took her discipline and went to her crate like a good girl. When you are dealing with a girl her size and her power, you really appreciate the fact that she is not trying to test you.
This pretty 1 year old is named Sunny and she is joining us from our favorite shelter in WV named Wetzel.
