About Gretchen-ADOPTED | |
|
Gretchen has had a tough start in life. She was literally thrown of a car by her previous owner. Thanks to a good samaritan who witnessed her being thrown out of the car & stopped to help. She was immediately hit by a car which broke her back leg & she lost 1/2 of her tail. We believe she would have lost her life if that person wasn't there. They held on to her & called First State Animal Control & she was picked up by officers & taken to an emergency hospital. They paid her very high vet bill so my plan is that whoever adopts Gretchen will donate my adoption fee to them. It's only a drop in the bucket compared to what they spent, but I know they'll appreciate the donation. They are a non-profit so it will tax deductible.
Gretchen came to LnF to recuperate with us & other than only having 1/2 tail -- you would never know. She has an excellent prognosis. All her medical records from the emergency hospital will be provided when she adopted.
**There is a photo below that shows all the staples she had in her leg & her tail.
She is very sweet & affectionate & petite for a GSD. I don't expect her to be anymore the 55 lbs full-grown. She has already learned to sit & we can tell that she is very smart.
If interested please read our adoption requirements & if qualified you can apply online at website. A minimum 4 foot physical fence is always mandatory - no exceptions. We do not accept any electric fences -
