UPDATE from Spooky's foster Mom:
Well, Rosy said he is super sweet and as always, she was correct. This darling pup loves people so much then when you say "Hi!" or even look in his directions, he wiggles his butt so hard that his whole body moves
from side to side. This is one happy, joyful boy! He loves all the dogs here and loves playing in the backyard but then he goes over to the big storage shed for shade and just rests.

He turned out to only weigh 49 pounds which surprised me because I did think he was bigger but that just means he is ALL HAIR! He does have a long coat and would probably love to have that shaved off for the summer. We just had him neutered and up to date with all his shots
and Heartworm/Lyme negative.

Spooky is an extreme dog. Extremely loving, intelligent, active and eager to please. He has "people" eyes he rolls them around and looks at you SO sweetly!! He absolutely loves people. According to Rosy from Wetzel, He is wonderful, but is a goofball. No Aggression whatsoever. He is what you would call a "goober". Don't you want to make him your little "goober"?

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions,
have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:

SPAYED/NEUTERED

Microchipping

Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia

On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus

Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.

Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough

Two De-Worming

No dog 6 months and up will ever leave L&F Dog Rescue without being spayed/neutered. Spay/Neuter is MANDATORY.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not place puppies in homes where no one will be home all day. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hour alone.

If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several petsitting service companies that we can recommend:

www.homesweethomepetsit.org/ in PA & DE

www.delawarepooperscoopers.com in PA, NJ, & DE

http://www.tlcpetsitting.net/ in MD

We also have a wonderful all day Doggy Day Care service:
Fuzzy Butts Doggy Day Care in Chadds Ford, PA
www.fuzzybuttsPA.com
(I have visited this facility and it is wonderful and reasonable)
