UPDATE: Thanks to an approved application we were able to get Wayne
out of the shelter in WV and now he is going home on Friday with his new Mommy!
We are all very, very happy for everyone!
Wayne is currently at the Wetzel County Animal Shelter in WV. Wayne is about 1 and one half years old. He came in with his brother John, who was adopted. They were "dumped" along the road. Has been at the shelter for quite some time but we just can't put him to sleep. Want to give a great dog like him every opportunity, but time could run out. We have had Wayne neutered, and heart worm checked and is up to date with all vaccinations. Plays well with other dogs who are not dominant. Would chase a cat if given the opportunity. He is in a 10x10 concrete kennel and he does not soil in it! A VERY neat dog, which means he would probably do great housetriaining. His brother John was adopted and doing great also. Loves adults and children and listens well. Walks great on leash if you tell him to. (if you don't tell him, he will take you where he wants!) just a wonderful guy.
