From Sandy's new family-
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to give you a little update on Sandy. We took her to the vet this morning to get her stitches removed. She did great, they said her stool sample was fine, but she had ear mites, they must have been bothering her because when he looked in her ears she tried to bite him. We got drops for her ears and he said they will be gone soon because the mites were not too bad. She started shaking as soon as we put her in the car this morning. This afternoon we decided to take all four to get italian ices. Well Sandy was very nervous at first, but when she saw our 3 so happy to be in the car, it helped a lot. By the time we got to the ice place she was happy and seemed to enjoy the ride. She definately enjoyed the Ice :) (no throw up either) Her new sisters and brother like her a lot,as a matter of fact we all slept together in bed last night. Sandy is starting to show more Jack russell characteristics too. This morning she went tearing out the back door after a bunny, and she loves to chase the other dogs. She is very fast! She is eating great and even gained a pound. She doesn't seem to know her name so we were thinking of maybe changing it to either Molly or Millie. Right now we are calling her all three names. So I just wanted to again thank you for all you do, we got an adorable little dog who fits right in with our family. Talk to you soon :)
UPDATE: This little one was spotted on our website and has already been ADOPTED site unseen by a family in NY. We are going to be able to transport her here on 08-07-05 and she'll be in their arms that week. Yeah!!
Sandy is an adorable little JRT mix. She is about 1 yr. old. She is currently at the Wetzel County Animal Shelter, but we would love to include her in our next transport for an approved applicant!
