Chas has been adopted!!
UPDATE from Chas's Foster Mom:
Oh, to watch a young pup play! What a joy she is – a little clumsy still, she bounces and runs and even hops (no, she is not a rabbit)! She is doing exceptionally well at her foster home – she loves to play with the other dogs but when it’s time to go to her crate at night, she goes without a fuss and is not heard from until the next morning. She has the most adorable face; it is unique and familiar at the same time. Chastity is a treasure. She is well behaved (well, most of the time; after all, she is still a puppy) and she will bring happiness all around if you were to adopt this sweet bundle of fun and laughter. Please come out and meet Chastity at our next Mingle with Mutts 09-17-05. Check our web site’s upcoming events for further details.
Chasity has arrived from Wetzel County Animal Shelter in WV. We are accepting applications now!
Chasity was a stray, and quite thin when found!!! She has huge feet that she is still learning to maneuver. She is a submissive pup that lets the other pups and dogs have their way. Very smart, and very cooperative! Eager to please! She will be a big dog when grown! So Sweet!

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:
SPAYED/NEUTERED
Microchipping
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Worming
PLEASE NOTE: We do not place puppies in homes where they will be left alone all day. Part-time is ok. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hours at a time. .
If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
