UPDATE: We are happy to report that our beautiful Mommy has found her home with another L&F Dog Rescue girl - Tokyo. We
have many double adoptions in our group and for that we are grateful. People just love the sweet and gentle, wiggle butt dogs we pick.

UPDATE: Ivy is such a pretty young girl. Everything has been great with us but yesterday when we were unloading out of the truck, she ran away. I was lucky enough to catch her but that
makes me nervous. I think that means that she will need to be adopted into a home that has an electric fence around the whole property. We recommend the company www.petstop.com.

My concern is always for the long term welfare of each of our shelter kids.

This is our new puppy girl Ivy. She came in with her (5) babies (shown below) from our favorite shelter in WV -- Wetzel. We have weaned her babies and they are eating on their own.

We already had a transport arranged and luckily for Ivy she arrived a day before. Of course we told Rosy to load them up. Rosy does not have an indoor faculity so you certainly do not want babies outside!

Mom and her babies were truly starving to death. They had been eating birdseed to live. We are getting them all vetted and hopefully everyone will be ready to "Go HOME 4 The Holidays" around Christmas.

Not quite sure yet what the pups are mixed with -- some have curly coats like a poodle, some look like collies, the one brown one looks like he went skiing and his googles gave him a sunburn look!

They are all sweet, happy go lucky puppies, all males, and they will be very pretty --- I mean handsome --- each and everyone of them!

PLEASE NOTE: Please read our adoption policies BEFORE applying for a puppy or dog. Any puppy under 5 months old MUST have their spay/neuter PRE-PAID through the adoption donation. There are NO exceptions.

If you would like to fill out an application, you must first register on the website and await an e-mailed passcode. Once you have this info, you will be able to access our application.

Please Note:
We do not adopt our puppies under 6 months to people who work full-time. Part-time or work from home is OK. We do not believe in leaving infants in crates all day.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily. This can be through a family member, neighbor, or Petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several Petsitting service companies that we can recommend:
