UPDATE:
Lil Guy’s adopted mom is retired and was looking forward to having a 24 hour a day companion and lap dog. When she arrived, Lil Guy climbed right into her truck and made himself at home as if to tell her, he was her man! It was love at first sight all around.

UPDATE from Lil' Guy's foster Mom:
Lil' Guy is housebroken, knows how to sit, plays nicely with my dog and is "afraid" of the cat. He was around kids and seems to be fine and loves people. I have had no problem taking treats or his food away from him. He is good in his crate and likes to play with rope toys.

This is Lil' Guy, a very small, only 15 pounds, one & half year old boy who was found and then turned in to a vet’s office after found wandering around a trailer park for several days. He’s so adorable and friendly to everyone that the Penn Animal Hospital has agreed to provide the medical care & neuter him and foster him until we can find him a permanent home for this little guy.

Lil' Guy is in excellent health. He seems smart and motivated enough to learn quickly. He has been neutered, heartworm & Lyme negative.

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:

SPAYED/NEUTERED

Microchipping

Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia

On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus

Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.

Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough

Two De-Worming

PLEASE NOTE: We do not place puppies in homes where they will be left alone all day. Part-time is ok. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hours at a time. .

If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several petsitting service companies that we can recommend:

www.homesweethomepetsit.org/ in PA & DE

www.delawarepooperscoopers.com in PA, NJ, & DE

http://www.tlcpetsitting.net/ in MD

We also have a wonderful all day Doggy Day Care service:
Fuzzy Butts Doggy Day Care in Chadds Ford, PA
www.fuzzybuttsPA.com
(I have visited this facility and it is wonderful and reasonable)
