Janna Adopted! This little beauty has been with us a long time but her "time" has finally come & soon she will have her very own Mom & Dad who will give her all the love & attention she deserves & in return she will love them with all her heart. We will miss her deeply but every dog deserves their very own family & home. Happy for my baby girl that her family finally found her! She is our 469th adoption since 2-24-2004

What do you get when you adopt from LnF Dog Rescue? Since our dogs are fostered in a home setting, their foster mom (me) knows them inside & out. I know their personalities, what they are good at: Janna is calm, very laid back, might even be considered a bit lazy -- but she walks very well on leash. What they are not good at: Janna needs to live with NO KITTIES or small creatures or young children. She is fine with other dogs, can be a bossy-pants & might adore being your only child so she can get ALL the attention that she craves but not mandatory.
I call her Janna-Banana and as you can see, she is a beautiful medium sized Husky, about 45 lbs but she could use to lose about 5-7 lbs. She has a really lovely eyes with one being ice blue eye & the other brown. It looks like she has eye makeup on! Her coat is very soft & cream colored and she has a several different shades in her markings. She looks like a toasted marshmallow to me.
She loves to be outside & the colder the better. She prefers to sit outside and just relax & enjoy the day. Janna is calm & laid back. She adores going for walks & actually prances like a show dog! She has an amazing array of sounds that she makes when she is “talking” which is a trait of Huskies. Janna seems to have a lot of opinions on numerous topics. Seems to me that she is truly trying to communicate with me. You just have to listen carefully to understand what she’s saying.
Poor little girl must have had a rough start where she came from in KY. She is afraid of children, so she can only be adopted into a family with teenagers. She is a pure delight! Janna is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, crate trained & housebroken.
This is what the shelter Janna just came from said about her: "Janna is probably the friendliest of the bunch that I have in my building. She is playful, fun, and smart. She is a husky mix of some sort. She has one blue eye and one brown eye. She's very smart & very eager to please."
