We're so happy to announce that Tanner has been adopted along with his real sister Sugar & they have gotten to "Go Home 4 The Holidays! Always great to help a dog get adopted but for them to get to go home together is extra sweet. They will have a great family, Mom, Dad & two - 2 legged children !! Tanner & Sugar are our #460 & #461st Adoption!

Sugar looks exactly like her Mom Molli who is a purebred Lab --- only Sugar is SUPERSIZED! She also inherited her Mom's beauty which means Sugar has a very Regal look about her. She is one of the largest of Molli's girls coming in a 90 lbs. Like her Mom, Sugar is very shiny & solid pure black. She is very intelligent, sweet, affectionate & happy girl. Her major quirk is she pulls dogs bed all over the room, she will take cushions off a chair, not chew, just move it another location. I don't know why she does that but that's why I call it a quirk!
Like her siblings Tanner & Pepper she also requires an adopter who is energetic, has dog training experience and loves working with large & powerful dogs. She has learned several commands and walks well on leash. We've had a professional dog trainer come here she has worked with all of the dogs. They have made great strides but due to their size they will need to continue with more training. We can recommend our dog trainer & she will come to your home also if you'd like.
Sugar is always the last to come inside when it's time for a nap or to eat. She's more independent and I think she is just very nosy! I call her Nosy Nellie, she just wants to figure things out for herself. More than her siblings she wants to do what she wants to do.
Observations of the dogwalker:
Sugar is a sweet dog. She is high energy and needs exercise daily. She has had some basic training and walks well on the leash. She would be an ideal dog for an active family.
All of our dogs have current shots, spayed/neutered & microchipped, housetrained crate trained & on Heartworm medication.
Be sure to read our adoption requirements before applying to confirm you can meet or exceed our requirements. A fence is always mandatory & must be a minimum of a 4 foot high. Some dogs need a higher fence or certain type & if so it's noted in their profile. We do not accept ANY type of electric fence. NO exceptions.
