UPDATE from Sara's foster Mom:
Look at the wrinkles in this pup's face! She is just so CUTE!! Another family actually rescued this little one from death, we just agreed to get her adopted since they could not keep her due to be renter's.
Sara is full of spirit and has personality PLUS. She has every trait we look for in L & F dogs such as; sweetness, affectionate, wiggle butt & tail wagger, playfulness (I know she is a puppy!) but to watch her play is so much fun. I introduced her to the hose which is one of my favorite things to do. I love to see them go from being afraid to charging after the water. She will make a delightful companion to the lucky people who adopt Ms. Personality Plus!
She went to the vet and has had all her shots for her age and de-wormed twice so she has all that stuff behind her. She still needs
two more puppy shots which she will be getting over the next few weeks.
She had her nails done which she hated --- and was microchipped which
I hated!
Sara was found, close to death, by some children in an alley all alone. They actually ran to their Mommy to say she was dead because she was laying so still. She would have died of starvation and dehydration had they not come along when they did. Luckily the kind family took her in and nursed her back to health. Unfortunately, they are not able to keep her. She may be about 12 weeks old and weighs 20 lbs & has huge big paws. Sara is going to be a very, very big girl. She could get to 70 or 80 lbs full grown.
She is an absolute doll and very friendly. If we could order dogs here
at L&F she would be our perfect match. She is sweet, affectionate,
cute little wiggle butt and just a real little charmer! She is looking for
a Mommy with my girls and my old Jo is being very kind to her.

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:
SPAYED/NEUTERED
Microchipping
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Worming
PLEASE NOTE: We do not place puppies in homes where they will be left alone all day. Part-time is ok. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hours at a time. .
If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
