UPDATE: My little baby boy went home today. He has a new Mommy who is a teacher, an older 2 legged brother who will take care of him while Mom is working and a backyard to die for! Only thing is he is not a big outdoor kind of guy -- he potty's then he is scratching at the door to get back in.

He greeted everyone who came to see him with a waggy tail and did run around the yard but then right back up on his fabulous deck!

He picked his Mom's chair as his which is where she sits and grades papers so
I can see he will take his position in her life as her little constant companion. We are very happy that he found his new home -- it was a great day in rescue!

What a little cutie this one is, only 10 pounds of pure sweetness! I think he is a Pug because his eyes are really BIG and he snorts yet his body is that of a Shih Tzu.

He is full of love, personality, he is quiet and a very good boy. He just follows you around and then curls up on the sofa. He loves to go for rides in the car and you can tell he had a family. So many of our Lost and Found Dog Rescue dogs has people who loved them but Lost them and were unable to find them.

We want to help him find a new family so he can start his life over.

We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily. This can be through a family member, neighbor, or Petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several Petsitting service companies that we can recommend:

Good Dog Animal Care -

Servicing the Kennett Square PA area
Call: (484)645-3130 - Meghan and Jackie Herb

Pet Valet services include transporting to and from Vet or grooming, dog walking and pet sitting - e-mail: leeterri2001@yahoo.com or call 302-369-3074

We abide by the Humane Association's recommendation. For ANY DOG adoption to have a relatively good chance of success, we believe a child should be 8 years old & up. We only adopt what we call our "BONA-FIDE Kid Lovers to families with children." Many dogs do not want to live with children. You should only adopt a dog who LOVES kids to be sure you are able to make a lifetime commitment to a dog.

Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either Physical or Electric Fence. The fence must be installed before we will proceed with processing an adoption application. If you need a fence for your dog, but are not permitted to have a physical fence, or chose not to, please visit our friends at Pet Stop. Mention that you saw them at our website.
