ADOPTION PENDING - Julie has arrived from our favorite shelter in West Virginia, Wetzel. She is even more wonderful then Rosy said! She is sweet, extremely affectionate, gentle and calm. Julie is house trained and only wants to make you pleased with her. She loves to sleep on the couch and would sleep with you if you are willing to let her snuggle up with you. Julie loves to go for walks and just wants a family to call her own. All Julie wants is someone to kiss that fabulous face of hers. She loves spending time with all the dogs and gets along with all dogs. She will be a wonderful loving companion and since she is so easy to be with I would even recommend her for first time dog owners.
Julie came in the shelter with 10 tiny puppies. They were all adopted.
Hounds mixes do not have very good luck in WV so Rosy was very happy to know that Lost and Found Dog Rescue agreed to find her the forever home she deserves.
If you would like to fill out an application, you must first register on the website and await an e-mailed passcode. Once you have this info, you will be able to access our application.

All L&F dogs/pups are crate & potty trained, temperament tested, have been chosen for sweet & gentle dispositions, have lived in foster homes with families, and have had the following:
SPAYED/NEUTERED
Microchipping
Tested for Heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia
On HeartGuard & Frontline Plus
Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.
Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough
Two De-Worming
All adoptions include:
One month of free Shelter Care insurance
2 free weeks of pooper scooper service provided by DE Pooper Scoopers
PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either physical or Invisible Fence IF there are children in the home.
We also expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
We have several petsitting service companies that we can recommend:
