ADOPTED!! Our pretty baby has found
her forever family who we feel will give her all the love and care we know she needs. Fawn is a very special pup and needed the very best family we could find to help her with her shyness and fears. They have experience with this issue with Fawn's 4-legged sister
(who was also a rescue) so we know they will have the patience to help her become a normal little pup who is not afraid or shy.

Fawn is a very cute spaniel mix pup. She is about 9 weeks old and weighs about 9 pounds. She came from the shelter with her sister Tawny. Fawn might get to be about 40lbs.

Fawn is a bit shy and when I first met her at the shelter she was just shivering with fear. She still shivers a bit ... she will need someone who can really, really spend time with her to hug her and teach her the world is a good place.

We want them to be adopted into
families that can and will provide LOTS and LOTS of affection.

They both have had two shots, two de-worming's and need two more shots.
They can only adopted in the DE, PA, area so they can be spayed when they are 4-5 months old by our local vet.

Please note: Personal puppy experienced homes only, we can not adopt to first timers for these puppies and prefer children over 8 or have been raised with dogs or pups.

If you would like to fill out an application, you must first register on the website and await an e-mailed passcode. Once you have this info, you will be able to access our application.

Rabies, Distemper, Parvo vaccines.

Intra Trac ll Kennel Cough

Two De-Worming

All adoptions include:
One month of free Shelter Care insurance
2 free weeks of pooper scooper service provided by DE Pooper Scoopers

PLEASE NOTE: Any dog/pup adopted from us must have a fenced in property either physical or Invisible Fence IF there are children in the home.

We do not place puppies in homes where they will be left alone all day. Part-time is ok. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hours at a time. .

If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.

We have several petsitting service companies that we can recommend:

www.homesweethomepetsit.org/ in PA & DE

www.delawarepooperscoopers.com in PA, NJ, & DE

http://www.tlcpetsitting.net/ in MD

We also have a wonderful all day Doggy Day Care service:
Fuzzy Butts Doggy Day Care in Chadds Ford, PA
www.fuzzybuttsPA.com
(I have visited this facility and it is wonderful and reasonable)
